A vegetation fire erupted yesterday afternoon near the Carrizo Plain national monument, at the intersection of Soda Lake road and Seven Mile road.
The fire’s spread was described to be ‘moderate,’ with several units dispatched to deal with the blaze.
The fire was contained within the afternoon to about 4.25 acres.
No injuries have been reported.
