A structure fire on Canet road off highway 1 near Morro Bay destroyed one building and badly damaged another.
The fire started in a garage, and quickly grew larger before it started to touch some of the other nearby structures. The blaze was knocked down after fire officials arrived on the scene.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
