55-year-old Michelle Morrow is scheduled to be sentenced in January for charges of filing false nomination or declaration papers and fraudulent voting.
The county district attorney’s office says this is part of a plea deal Morrow made on Monday the 18th, where charges of voter registration fraud and perjury will be dropped.
Morrow was a write-in candidate for district 3 supervisor, but she lived outside of district 3 and inside district 4. She signed a lease to rent a room in Grover Beach, but the DA’s office says she continued to live in district 4 while running for office in district 3.
The DA’s office says she faces a maximum sentence of six months in jail and two years probation.
