The county board of supervisors will consider another revision to its rules of procedure, regarding equipment use.
The last time the board amended its rules for equipment was in August, 2024. The board amended its rules to prohibit the use of county equipment, such as computer presentations, during public comment.
The board is considering a change to this, allowing the use of county equipment for items on the consent agenda, while continuing to prohibit during general public comment for items not on the agenda.
On this same agenda item, the board will discuss agendized presentations. Staff has given several options for presentations: cease having them altogether, limit the allocated time, hold a separate special meeting for presentations, or place all presentations on the consent agenda.
