San Luis Obispo county supervisors meet today.
They will take a preliminary look at a proposal to increase their pay from 90 thousand dollars a year, to 109 thousand dollars. That will come back before the board in a couple weeks.
This is the specific agenda item regarding the supervisors pay raise. It’s the first item on the consent agenda. “Introduction of an ordinance amending section 2.48.095 of the county ordinance code regarding compensation increases for the board of supervisors and approval of a resolution increasing the county contribution for post-employment health benefits to elected department heads and members of the board of supervisors. Hearing date set for February 7, 2023, all districts.”
They will also discuss committee assignments and other issues. They will undoubtedly discuss the winter storms.
