A bridge on Creston road, about 5 miles east of Paso Robles, was damaged from previous winter storms.
The county board of supervisors opened a contract for bids in December last year to replace the bridge with a new concrete bridge. The board will discuss awarding the contract in its next meeting Tuesday, January 27th for about 3.5 million dollars. The project has been approved for funding through a federal relief program through Caltrans, but it has not yet been allocated to the state.
Until the allocation occurs, the county can invoice part of the project costs for reimbursement once funds have been allocated.
You can attend Tuesday’s meeting in person, or watch online.
