A suspected DUI driver crashed into a traffic pole on the corner of Los Osos Valley road and Froom Ranch way Saturday evening.
The San Luis Obispo police announced on social media this incident occurred at approximately 5:41 pm, saying that after the driver had crashed, he bailed from the truck and ran.
Eyewitnesses provided police a description of the person, and patrol officers located him a short distance away.
Police say he was arrested for suspected DUI and hit and run. Fortunately, there were no injuries.
