San Luis Obispo county officials are encouraging those who have not been vaccinated to get that shot.
In a news release issued yesterday, the county officials say 98.4% of the recent covid-19 cases were not vaccinated.
In the past week, 253 cases of coronavirus were reported.
Dr. Penny Borenstein says, that the one vaccinated person who died with coronavirus had immunity issues.
