A vehicle fire on highway 41 east of Atascadero blocked traffic in both directions for several hours.
CHP received the report of the fire at about 10:34 am on January 28th, near Road Runner lane in the Atascadero area. CHP’s incident page said a white dodge ram was “fully engulfed” in flames on the roadside.
Both directions of highway 41 near Road Runner lane were closed, reopened later at about 1 pm.
