Despite the heavy rain, military veterans and others escorted the traveling Vietnam War Memorial to San Luis Obispo yesterday.
The motorcycle escort began at Mission San Miguel, and traveled southward in the rain down highway 101 to the Madonna Inn.
That’s where the memorial will be displayed.
It’s a three quarter scale replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington.
