Pond Fire Update 8.05.2020

The Pond fire is now 90% contained. The fire east of Santa Margarita has burned 2005 acres. Fighting the fire are 32 engines, 7 hand crews, 6 dozers and 260 personnel over all. Cal Fire says weather is cooperating with increased humidity, but winds remain strong. They expect to get full containment on Saturday.
