A 3.7 magnitude earthquake struck San Luis Obispo county, about four miles west of Atascadero and south of highway 41.
The quake occurred at about 7:50 pm Saturday night, with a recorded depth of 6.7 kilometers.
The U.S. Geological survey says the quake could be felt all the way to lake Nacimiento to the north, and Arroyo Grande to the south.
