Paso Robles police are looking for a man who robbed a frozen yogurt shop Sunday night around 8:15. It’s Yogurt Creations, which is located next to Kohls off Spring street in Paso Robles.
The man brandished a handgun and demanded cash from the drawer and an employee’s cell phone. The robber left the store with both and headed south, toward the riverbed. The cell phone was found later by a k-9 unit on River road and Riverbank lane. Police were unable to locate the suspect.
They’re currently processing DNA to see if he’s in the system. The robber is described as a white male adult about 5 feet eight inches tall and weighing around 200 pounds. He was last seen wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, dark pants, colored Vans shoes with white trim and a black mask. He also carried a black backpack. The employee was not injured in the hold up Sunday night.
