The election is fewer than 100 days away.
County clerk recorder Tommy Gong says he’s been planning for the general election in November for months. Back in March, they started looking at options for running the general.
Tommy Gong says he’s confident the election in San Luis Obispo county will be fair and accurate. The changes mandated primarily by governor Gavin Newsom.
Tommy Gong is required, like other county clerk recorders to implement the changes. He says in the last election 80% of local voters voted by mail. This year it will be 100%.
