The president of the American Federation of Teachers called yesterday for a full return to in-person learning in the fall.
Randi Weingarten says she is all in for bringing students back to the classroom. She says conditions have changed. She says “We can and we must reopen schools in the fall for in-person teaching, learning and support.”
Local unions are not all in support of the effort to reopen schools.
