Just in time for the opening day of the California mid state fair, we’ll see a warming trend for a few days in the north county.
Highs tomorrow reaching 100 in Paso Robles, 93 in Atascadero.
The fair opens Wednesday, with the Miss California Mid State Fair that evening at the fair with Chad Stevens serving as MC. Then temperatures will cool off a little on Thursday and by this weekend we’ll see north county high temperatures backing off into the upper 80’s.
A monsoon from the southwest may bring thunderstorms and muggy air to the California coast through tomorrow. That may cause lightning strikes in some areas. Last week, more than 100 new fires were started in the western United States.
