Schools reopen today in the north county.
County superintendent of schools says, that he attended a briefing with the national weather service, the office of emergency services, and local school agencies about weather closures.
He says, “ I anticipate that most school districts, charters, Cuesta, Cal Poly, care centers, private schools, and parochial schools will reopen for service on Wednesday, January 11, 2023. Coast Unified school district has notified my office that they will remain closed because of power and water-related issues.”
