In water issues, supervisors Bruce Gibson removed John Peschong and Debbie Arnold from the Paso Robles Groundwater Basin Agency. Then at a meeting in Paso Robles two weeks ago, Gibson stepped down and put Matt Turrentine of Harvard Investments in charge of that PR-GSA. Turrentine had donated $9,000 to the Bruce Gibson re-election campaign.
Supervisor Bruce Gibson also pushed for the resignation of county administrative officer Wade Horton.

Incidentally, Thursday night, the Coalition of Labor, Agriculture and Business will hold a meeting at the Madonna Expo. It’s the annual dinner and John Peschong and Debbie Arnold will speak about the changes underway in San Luis Obispo county. You can get tickets at COLAB’s website.
