CHP posted details of an incident on social media Saturday afternoon, saying that a vehicle crashed off an embankment into a boulder in the Nipomo area.
Around half an hour prior to this collision, CHP says the driver was given a speeding ticket at the Cuesta grade for driving 85 miles per hour.
The driver was transported to a nearby hospital for “complaint of pain,” according to CHP.
