Yesterday in Grover Beach, an Amtrak train traveling northbound at a high rate of speed struck and killed a pedestrian walking on the railroad tracks.
The train activated its horn and its brakes, but the pedestrian did not react. With his back to the train and wearing a hooded jacket, the pedestrian continued walking on the train tracks until it struck and killed him.
That fatal train accident reported yesterday afternoon in Grover Beach.
