The Atascadero police department released a statement that warns the public against illegal motorcycle riding in the Salinas riverbed.
The department says that there has been a recent uptick in unauthorized motorcycle activity in the riverbed’s area.
This not only violates local and state ordinances, but also poses a risk to the environment, and the community at large.
Those caught doing so can be subject to penalties for safety hazard, environmental damage, or noise pollution.
