The Branch Fire is now 75% contained.
The wildfire off Highway 58 in the California Valley burned 3,022 acres. It destroyed two structures and ten outbuildings.
The evacuation order for the California Valley was lifted at 5:00 Thursday afternoon. A resident in the area said, “That bad boy really took off.”
