San Luis Obispo fire chief Keith Aggson is retiring.
The chief served San Luis Obispo’s fire department for three years. He will retire in November.
Previously Aggson served fire departments in Atascadero, Templeton and Paso Robles.
He says fire service has changed over the past 30 years he’s served as a firefighter. He says technology has changed, and the size of the major fires has grown substantially.
He will retire in November. San Luis Obispo is looking for a new fire chief.
