A committee charged with selecting an interim county clerk recorder has narrowed a field of 44 candidates to just three.
They include deputy clerk recorder Jeffrey Barry of Yolo county. Santa Barbara county elections division manager Elaina Cano.
And the third remaining candidate is the current county clerk-recorder Helen Nolan.
Of the 44 candidates, only four had elections experience.
