Two people detained after a crash in Shell Beach yesterday.
A short pursuit involving a sheriff’s deputy started when a deputy initiated a traffic enforcement stop and the driver took off. The short pursuit was quickly called off. The driver then crashed his car on Shell Beach road and Park Place.
The CHP deployed a helicopter and some K-9’s to assist with the search for the culprits.
Two people were detained around 3 yesterday afternoon.
