An earthquake shook Santa Barbara county on Wednesday afternoon. The earthquake hit around 2:12. The epicenter was six miles off the coast of the city of Santa Barbara. It measured 3.4 on the Richter scale. It was felt from Goleta to Carpenteria. No damage or injuries reported.
Wildlife officials say the tremor did not impact the Grunion Run, which continues late this evening at beaches along the central coast.
