A Morro Bay man was hospitalized after his mobile home exploded while he was allegedly extracting hash oil. The Morro Bay fire department responded to the mobile home in the 400 block of Atascadero road around 8 Monday night. The man was transported to Sierra Vista Regional Medical Center with burns on his hand and face. Then, he was taken to a burn center in Fresno for his injuries.
