Caltrans announced on social media that a lane of southbound US 101 will be closed for the remainder of this week.
The lane in question is the number 3 (rightmost) lane at the bottom of the Cuesta grade near Old Stage Coach road. The road will be closed for one mile to install a rockfall fence.
Work will go through July 12th from 9 am to 7 pm.
