The gala pride and diversity center is collaborating with the county public health department to conduct a monkey-pox vaccination clinic this Friday, October 14th.
Vaccinations will be available from 4-6:30 at 1060 Palm street in San Luis. This clinic will offer second doses to those who received a first dose in early September. And first doses to those who are at high risk and have not yet received the monkey-pox vaccine.
Eligibility criteria include county residents who are over 18 and who identify as gay, bisexual and other men or trans people who have sex with men.
If you’d like to schedule an appointment for a monkey-pox vaccine, you’re encouraged to contact the public health department.
