The recount began late yesterday morning at the county government center. More or less.
County clerk recorder Elaina Cano asked for a cashiers check for $17,000 to get the recount started. So far, they’re just sorting ballots.
Sorting resumed this morning. The cost today for Darcia Stebbins and those calling for the recount is about $4,500.
