Yesterday morning, the Morro Bay fire department rescued a surfer stranded on Morro rock.
According to a medical evaluation after their rescue, the surfer was not injured.
A reminder that there is a high surf advisory in effect for most of San Luis Obispo county’s coastal regions until 9 this morning.
Waves of up to 25 feet are expected on the county’s shores.
