A vegetation fire sparked near lake Nacimiento Saturday evening, near Sandy Point campground.
Cal Fire sent out a full wildland response to the report of the fire, including ground and air resources. Evacuations were initiated for those near the Sandy Point campground.
Forward progress of the blaze was eventually stopped at a little over two acres, and Cal Fire reported that it was fully contained by about 9:31 pm.
