On Friday at approximately 9:47 am, Coast Hills Federal Credit Union on Spring street contacted the Paso Robles police department to report the discovery of a skimmer device in the outside branch ATM.
Officers who arrived and discovered the skimming device also found a small camera mounted into the frame of the ATM. Coast Hills employees had alerted other banks, and Premier Valley Bank on Spring street also located a skimming device on their outside ATM.
An investigation led the Paso Robles police department to believe the devices were placed early on Friday morning. The police department says banking customers should closely monitor their bank activity if they have used ATMs at any locations recently.
