A grass fire erupted on Wednesday afternoon along highway 101 near the Cuesta grade.
The fire was reported at around 3:15 pm, and resulted in the closure of one of the highway’s northbound lanes. The fire was eventually contained after it burned just under four acres. All lanes were eventually reopened at 6 pm.
The cause is currently unknown, and no injuries were reported.
