The California Mid-State Fair has previously enforced a hat ban for its guests, asking fairgoers to remove New York Yankees and Pittsburgh Pirates hats before entering the fairgrounds.
The hats were associated with gang activity, and were banned from the Paso Robles public event center.
However, as of Thursday, the hat ban has been lifted from the fairgrounds.
