Fundraising at Cal Poly sets a new record for the state university system. Poly raised more than $830 million dollars over the past eight years. The original goal was $500 million. Then readjusted to $700 million by 2021.
That goal was met, so Poly is ending the fundraising campaign. What will they do with the money?
More scholarships.
Better lab facilities.
More stipends for students and teachers to do research.
And increase diversity.
Also improve facilities for athletics.
