The California Highway Patrol has received a seven hundred thousand dollar grant from the national highway safety administration to assist in its efforts for its motorcycle safety and awareness program.
The ‘get educated and ride safe’ program is designed to reduce the number of motorcycle-involved crashes and crash victims.
CHP says it will increase motorcycle safety activities in regions with a high number of motorcycle incidents, and that it will continue to increase enforcement in areas with a high number of motorcycle-involved crashes.
