The city of San Luis Obispo held a public information session on October 10th to discuss a project to remove debris from Prefumo Creek near Los Osos Valley road.
In preparation for the winter season, city officials hope to remove much of the sediment and debris that have accumulated in the area, which now poses a risk of flooding and other hazards.
The project will be completed this month or in November.
