The San Luis Obispo county public works department announced that construction activity for the Arroyo Grande creek has commenced.
Over the next few months, crews will be working to remove vegetation and sediment to restore capacity and flood protection in the Arroyo Grande creek for the surrounding community.
A second phase will consist of levee repairs from damages caused by the winter storms earlier this year.
