Last week, San Luis Obispo county election officials discovered that duplicate vote-by-mail ballots were sent to more than 2,600 voters in the county.
San Luis Obispo county clerk recorder Tommy Gong says that a bar code on the ballot will prevent anyone who received the extra ballot from voting more than once.
