Effective June 15th, Californians who have been vaccinated will be allowed to go mask free in most indoor settings. That date is also the target date set by the governor for reopening California.
The June 15th change will align the state with recently announced guidance from the centers for disease control and prevention.
Last week, federal health officials said that it is safe for fully vaccinated people to go without masks in most places, indoors or out.
