Yesterday afternoon, Nipomo high school students school sheltered in place after a staff member received an “online anonymous tip” just before 1 pm.
The order to shelter came in just as students were on their lunch break, so they were all escorted to the school’s gymnasium.
The county sheriff’s office then investigated the campus, and eventually gave the ‘all clear,’ confirming there was no threat to the school.
