This week, the city of San Luis Obispo is going to begin construction of another parking garage.
This one is 163 thousand square feet.
It’s going up at Monterey, Palm and Nipomo streets.
The city is demolishing vacant buiding adjacent to the existing parking lot, where the multi-story structure will be built.
It’s the first new parking garage in downtown San Luis in 20 years.
