A residential fire reported at seven last night at 558 Ferro Lane in Paso Robles.
Arriving firefighters quickly contained the fire in the living room, but the entire house suffered significant smoke damage.
The cause of the fire was related to a rechargeable batter that overheated and caught the couch on fire.
Six people were displaced by the fire.
