A vegetation fire broke out yesterday afternoon along highway 58 near California Valley.
The fire was first reported around 12:30 pm west of Soda Lake road near Energy Place, with a moderate spread.
Forward progress of the blaze was stopped at around 1:30 pm, and Cal Fire San Luis Obispo reported the fire burned around 15 acres.
