A cluster of earthquakes shook northern California near San Francisco. The first one struck near Pacifica at 6:00 yesterday morning. Two more occurred in the same area at 6:03 and 6:04. They measured 2.6 on the Richter scale. More than two thousand people reported feeling the quakes to the USGS.
