Highway one reopens to Big Sur. A rock and mud slide closed the way near Salmon Creek Wednesday morning. That’s north of Ragged Point, but south of Gorda. A rainstorm hit the area Sunday night and Monday. And there were a series of earthquakes Monday, as well, which may have contributed to the rock slide.
