Highway one is closed just south of the border between between San Luis Obispo and Monterey counties. You can’t drive around the closure on Nacimiento-Fergusson road. The CHP describes that as “non-negotiable roadway conditions.” Your best bet is to take 101 to drive around the closure on highway one just south of Big Sur.
