At last night’s Paso Robles city council, the Food Bank was honored by the city leaders. Representing the Food Bank, CEO Kevin Drabinsky spoke to the council and reminded them the Food Bank started in Paso Robles and then grew to be a county wide resource.

San Luis Obispo fire fighters battled a rail car fire off Orcutt road and Laurel Lane this morning. The fire broke out in rail cars early this morning. The cars reportedly are carrying used wooden railroad ties. Firefighters working now to mop up that fire in San Luis Obispo.
