Paso Robles on Friday broke a 17-year-old temperature record. According to meteorologist John Lindsey, the Paso Robles Airport recorded a high temperature of 112 degrees Friday afternoon. That broke the previous record of 110 degrees for the same day in 2007.
More than 2,000 customers were without power in Cambria on Saturday night due to an electrical outage. The incident occurred at about 8:30 p.m., impacting 2,030 customers mostly in the area of Highway 46 and southwest of Highway 1. According to PG&E, power was restored by 4 a.m.
